The law firm of Kanuka Thuringer LLP is please to announce the admission of Adam Ailsby, Jill Drennan, Marc Kelly, and Marie-France Menc to partnership effective January 1, 2011.

Adam was born and raised on a farm outside Regina.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics (Magna Cum Laude) from Concordia College in Moorhead MN in 2001 and his Juris Doctor (Distinction) in 2005 from the University of Saskatchewan.  He was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2006.  Adam carries on a general practice and has a particular interest in civil and commercial litigation and insurance law.

Jill was born and raised on a farm South East of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honors) in 2002 and her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2005, both from the University of Saskatchewan.  She was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2007.  Jill carries on a general litigation practice with a focus on family, child protection and criminal law, with a specific interest in youth criminal matters.

Marc was born in Hay River, NWT and raised in Lloydminster, AB.  He received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Great Distinction) in 2004 and his Bachelor of Laws Degree (Distinction) in 2005, both from the University of Saskatchewan.  He was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2006.  Marc practices in the areas of real estate, family law, and civil litigation, with an interest in employment law.

Marie-France was born and raised near Toronto, ON.  She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1977 and her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1980, both from the University of Toronto.  Marie-France also has a post-graduate degree in international business law from Université de Droit, d'Economie et des Sciences d'Aix-Marseille, France.  She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1982 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2007.  Marie-France practices in the area of business law, with particular emphasis on commercial transactions, commercial finance, and intellectual property matters.
