Practice Concentration & Experience Jeff practices primarily in the areas of family law and bankruptcy and insolvency.
Jeff has extensive experience negotiating and litigating family law disputes for both married and common-law spouses, and has argued family law cases before all levels of court in Saskatchewan. He regularly advises clients on all aspects of parenting arrangements, valuation and division of property and liabilities (including complex property division cases involving pensions, farms, and business), adoptions, and child support and spousal support issues.
Jeff has been a frequent presenter at family law training seminars for lawyers. He is a former chairperson of the Family Law South Section of the Canadian Bar Association and District Governor for the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan Inc., and regularly conducts interest based negotiations in the family law area.
Jeff is listed in the 2009 and 2010 editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Family Law.
In addition to his family law practice, Jeff also acts for creditors and trustees in various bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
