Our lawyers have extensive experience representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and consultants. We assist clients in both construction dispute resolution and construction related transactions.
We have particular experience representing clients in litigation and in advancing various kinds of claims (claims for extras, delay claims, defective workmanship) arising out of construction projects and in preparing, registering, and enforcing builders' liens.
In 1984, one of our partners chaired the Special Advisory Committee to the Minister of Justice on Builders' Liens, which resulted in a new Builders' Lien Act for Saskatchewan. Another one of our partners is rated by Lexpert in the Construction field.
Our lawyers have argued construction law cases before all levels of court in Saskatchewan and the Supreme Court of Canada. We also have experience in resolving construction disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration.
