Practice Concentration & Experience Keith practises primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, transportation, regulatory and administrative law.A significant part of his practice includes representing clients in class actions, corporate and business disputes, product liability, oil and gas, and construction cases and in the defence of regulatory prosecutions and commercial offences.
Keith has appeared as counsel on hearings, trials, and appeals before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Federal Court, and the Tax Court of Canada as well as before various administrative tribunals and regulatory bodies. He has also been appointed as an inquest coroner, and presides over inquest hearings in Saskatchewan that are conducted before a civil jury.
As part of his transportation law practice, Keith advises motor carriers, bus companies, courier companies, and railways in general business, regulatory, and litigation matters affecting transportation operations. Keith serves as a director of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association and is also a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association (US).
Keith has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Transportation Law (2008-2012), and in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in the area of Transportation Law (Road & Rail) (2011).
Keith is a member of the Saskatchewan bar and an inactive member of the British Columbia bar, and has published articles on various legal subjects appearing in the Alberta Law Review, Transportation Lawyer, Journal of Motor Vehicle Law, Criminal Law Quarterly, Health Law Journal, and For The Defense.
