Practice Concentration & Experience Paul is a seasoned litigator, practising primarily in the areas of family law, estate litigation, personal injury, and civil litigation. Paul is currently listed in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Family Law.
Paul has argued cases before all levels of court in Saskatchewan as well as before various administrative tribunals and regulatory bodies. He has extensive experience in the family law area, and regularly advises clients on separation, divorce, custody and parenting arrangements, spousal and child support issues, property division, adoptions, and other family law issues. Paul has particular experience in the valuation and division of property and liabilities, including complex property division cases involving pensions, farms, and business interests.
Paul is listed in the 2009 and 2010 editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the area of Family Law.
Paul has been a frequent presenter at family law and personal injury training seminars for lawyers and is a former chairperson of the Family Law South Section of the Canadian Bar Association. He is a mediator accredited by Law Society of Saskatchewan, and is also a qualified member of Collaborative Lawyers of Saskatchewan Inc. Paul regularly conducts interest based negotiations and mediations in the family law area. Paul is the vice-president of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and also serves as the current chair of the Saskatchewan Police Commission.
