Practice Concentration & Experience Warren has a broad corporate commercial practice with particular emphasis on commercial transactions, insurance and financial services regulation, commercial finance, and insolvency.
Warren is currently a member of the Canadian IT Law Association, the Canadian Petroleum Law Foundation, Saskatchewan Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Practitioners, and is one of the firm's representatives to the Regina Chamber of Commerce. In the past, he has lectured at the Saskatchewan Bar Admission Course on the topic of receiverships and has presented papers at a number of continuing legal education, CBA and other professional seminars over the years.
He is currently listed in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory 2008 as a leading practitioner in field of Banking and Financial Services Law. He is also listed in the 2008, 2009, and 2010 editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the areas of Banking Law and Insolvency and Financial Restructuring. Since 2007 he has also been a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada, one of only two members from Saskatchewan.
Warren currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Saskatchewan Government Insurance. He also is a board member for The South Saskatchewan Community Foundation. From 1994 to 2008 he served as a managing partner for the firm.
