Curtis carries on the general practice of law with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution. He has particular experience in several areas of family and criminal law, and has appeared before the Provincial Court, the Court of Queen's Bench, and the Court of Appeal.

Curtis resides and practices in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, where he currently serves as Vice President of the Southwest Bar Association.
