Keith practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, transportation, regulatory and administrative law. A significant part of his practice includes representing clients in class actions, corporate and business disputes, and in the defence of regulatory prosecutions and commercial offences.

Keith has appeared as counsel on hearings, trials, and appeals before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Federal Court, and the Tax Court of Canada, and has represented clients on applications for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. Keith has also appeared as counsel and represented clients before various administrative tribunals and regulatory bodies, and has served as an inquest coroner and as coroner’s counsel in inquest hearings that are conducted before a civil jury.

As part of his transportation law practice, Keith advises motor carriers, bus companies, courier companies, and railways in all manner of general business, regulatory, and litigation matters affecting transportation operations. Keith is a member and former director of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association and a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association (US), and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in the area of transportation law.

Keith is a member of the Saskatchewan bar and an inactive member of the British Columbia bar, and has published articles on a number of legal subjects appearing in various law journals.
